The Bruin Democrats

The Bruin Democrat Goals for 2004-2005:

1.	To promote the election of Democratic candidates.
2.	To educate students about electoral politics.
3.	To increase voter turnout among young voters.
4.	To build a community in which students receive ample opportunities for involvement in electoral politics.
5.	To participate in statewide and national political networks in order to develop a common plan to advocate Democratic Philosophy.
6.	To provide programming to the UCLA general population that will raise awareness on issues affecting the UCLA community.
7.	To promote intellectual dialogue and diversity.
8.	To promote an environment within student politics that reflects the values of democracy, equality, and fair and open elections.
9.	To promote UCLA’s thriving political environment in the community in order to attract more young leaders to UCLA through outreach programs.
10.	To work with other organizations in order promote the aforementioned goals.
